Marc Carbasse BDS (Hons) MFDS RCS Cert (Dent Imp)
I qualified, with Honours, from Guys, Kings and St Thomas’ in 2004. Being fortunate enough to work in the East Kent Hospital Maxillo-facial department, I gained a wide range of surgical experience. Whilst studying and completing my Royal College of Surgeons exams, I was asked to lecture in both the UK and Spain.
On my return to General Private Practice, I found my passion for implant dentistry. In 2009, I commenced a multi-system certificate in Dental Implants in Salford and under the guidance of Professor Richard Palmer, learnt to place single implants as well as the most complex full arch reconstructions, with a range of bone grafting procedures. I continue to work with the Professor in a Specialist Referral Practice in London.
I have recently been appointed as Director of the Canterbury branch of The ITI (International Team for Implantology), which aims to draw together a global network for lifelong learning, with comprehensive quality education and innovative research at its heart. I regularly travel to international conferences and courses to bring back the latest skills and technology to my patients.
